Managing Director

Maurice has over 18 years experience in helping life science organisations build world-class teams. Since co-founding PiR Group in 1990 he has been actively involved in developing strategic relationships with clients across the life science sectors, from high growth major pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and medical device organisations to emerging high potential start-ups. Maurice builds close rapport with CEO's, Senior VP's and Directors of life science organisations on a global basis, conducting international searches on their behalf for senior level talent. He specialises in Board level roles including CEO's and Senior Directors/VP's and Managers in R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Finance, Business Development, In/Out Licensing, Operations, Quality and Human Resources.

Jody Taylor

Director Client Projects

Since joining PiR in December 2001, Jody had progressed through the Research Team to the position of Research Team Leader before taking her current role of Director Client Projects. In this role Jody is responsible for managing new and existing key client accounts to secure and develop business for PiR. Jody works closely with clients to deliver shortlists of candidates for a wide variety of roles within the life science industry, using her extensive experience of sourcing candidates for senior commercial, manufacturing and regulatory roles. She has also researched the market for clinical, scientific and support services professionals. On completion of her A-Level qualifications, Jody began her career as an Analytical Chemist, firstly in a multinational Agrochemical company and then for a small contract analysis company serving the food, pharmaceutical and agricultural industries. She gained an honours degree in Chemistry part time whilst working in the laboratory. Jody moved into the recruitment industry in March 2001, specialising in commercial recruitment for the Life Science industries, prior to joining PiR.

Michele Waters

Project Support Manager

Michele has been with PIR Group since June 2000. In her current role as Project Support Manager she heads up the Project Support team ensuring the provision of smooth and efficient administrative support for the Consultants and Research Team, as well as facilitating the interface between clients and candidates. In addition, as part of this multi-faceted role, Michele is an integral member of the Business Development Team and project manages PIR Group’s marketing initiatives both in-house and in conjunction with external consultants. Before this, Michele gained a wealth of experience working in senior administrative roles within the service industry including Local Government and the banking sector.

Sheila Cooper

Sheila Cooper

Finance and Administration Manager

Sheila joined PIR in December 2006 as the Finance and Administration Manager. Sheila has over 16 years experience of working in generalist management roles during which she has developed her skills and gained extensive experience in finance, HR and company administration. She has managed her own departments, written policies and implemented procedures for both finance and HR departments in SMEs within both the leisure and manufacturing sectors.
