The attention to detail at the start of an assignment is key to PiR’s success and this approach is followed throughout the whole of the campaign. Regular progress reports are delivered on time, supported by good market information. Detailed candidate reports, highlighting the fit of the individual to the role and organisation are extremely valuable; as are the assessments of the gap between the original person specification and what the candidate has to offer.

If an assignment is proving to be a challenge, you won’t wait for weeks without knowing it. But, if it is particularly difficult to source appropriate candidates alternative approaches are always put forward for discussion; a course of action identified, agreed and then followed in a rigorous manner.

All the way through an assignment the decisions remain with the client. PiR’s approach has always been one of working in partnership with the client and having a strong emphasis on gaining a real understanding them, their culture and their requirements of the person to be appointed. This has always resulted in the generation of a short list that has more than one candidate on it who could be appointed. So far I have not been disappointed by the results.
