Robin Hills
UK
Robin leads a team specialising in the application of emotional intelligence within organisations. His work involves helping senior managers and leaders in organisations to develop their business performance through increased self awareness and understanding of others. Emotional intelligence is becoming more important than IQ in personal success. It is an individual's capacity to understand and control their own emotions, and to recognise and manage those of others in developing performance. There is intelligence in the emotions and intelligence can be brought to emotions. In fact, the more senior the position in an organisation, the more emotional intelligence matters.
Robin uses a range of tools to support personal development, training and coaching around emotional intelligence. He is qualified to use a wide range of psychometric instruments. His team has a special interest in linking together the outputs from the world's leading personality / behavioural assessments into emotional intelligence to give real practical application to improve effectiveness and productivity. Many of these assessments have been used for years by the life science industry and these can now be used to further their application with senior managers to a much deeper level thus enhancing emotional intelligence.
With over 25 years’ business and commercial experience, Robin has worked with most major life science companies and with the NHS in sales, marketing, research and recruitment. Since 2005, Robin has been working as an independent management consultant. He has built a team of similarly qualified and experienced professionals offering performance management services for individuals or teams at all levels in any size of organisation.
